Mary Anne Constance graduated from Gwent College of Higher Education, Clarence Place, Newport in 1987. After gaining a BA Hons in Graphic Design, she went on to establish the partnership Chieftan Arts with fellow former art student Chris Keegan. Together they successfully completed many community arts projects in and around Newport, South Wales

For some years Mary Anne was an archaeological illustrator for The National Museum of Wales, both in Cardiff & Caerleon. In 1995, she achieved a PGCE from the Cardiff Institute of Art & Design

Over three years ago, fulfilling a long-held ambition, Mary Anne began working with stained glass. The medium perfectly suited her linear style of illustration & she went on to perfect the copper foil technique, which allows far more intricacy than traditional leaded glass

Mary Anne established the company 'pewtermoonsilver' in September 2006, selling her work via this website and her eBay shop. She has also runs stalls at local craft fairs such as the Caerleon Festival, Newport Indoor Market and the Usk Show, and has worked on many privately commissioned pieces of stained glass

Mary Anne is continuing to grow the business through sales and commissions, and is forever designing new stained glass items to dazzle & delight pewtermoonsilver customers!

From 1st April 2008 the business is full time
